  18.   While I'm sure that the Netscape folks would be willing to produce an Amiga
  19.   version if the economic incentive was right (read:  "if they were paid to do
  20.   it by AT"), I don't think that's necessarily a desirable end.

  22.   Netscape is already becoming the Microsoft of the World Wide Web.  If they
  23.   succeed, then all the work that has gone into the HTML and HTTP standards
  24.   (and S-HTTP, which is needed to guarantee privacy for financial and other
  25.   transactions) will be wasted.  Current Netscape servers support a number of
  26.   proprietary extensions that serve as "lock-ins" to force people to use
  27.   Netscape browsers.  At the same time, Netscape appears to be dragging its
  28.   feet with regard to supporting the proposed HTML3 standard.

  30.   One Microsoft is MORE than enough, in my mind.  We need at least two good
  31.   HTML3-compliant browsers on the Amiga platform ASAP.  (The Windoze crowd has
  32.   the same need, but as usual they don't know it.)
